Today, we truly surprised this Marine Corps veteran!

As Sean Parnell said, we “ambushed” him today in Colombia, South Carolina, at the continuing education class  where real estate agents gathered to not only learn how to better serve military clients, but also to honor this Marine veteran with a family grant. The grant started at $6,400 donated by the amazing Dan Coggins with Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation.$1,200 was then added from real estate agents who purchased RED Friday T-shirts  knowing that every penny of their purchase would go directly to this Veteran. And finally, another$2,400 was added from the American Warrior Initiative for a total of  $10,000.00!

Prior to the event, there was another initiative sponsored by Dan Coggins, his amazing team and AWI. A $3,000 grant was presented to the Spring Valley High School JROTC Color Guard to fund equipment for their State Champion Drill Team. To say that was a disciplined group of young people is an understatement. Outstanding job, SVHS ROTC! Good luck at your competition.
