What is AFR?

American Frontline Rewards (AFR) is a certification program for loan officers, real estate professionals, and partners who want to better serve the people on America’s front lines. Veterans, active duty military, first responders, police officers, firefighters, medical professionals, and teachers.

The certification is built for the professionals working with these communities every day. In one hour, AFR walks through the realities frontline workers face — the financial weight, the invisible wounds, the daily exhaustion — and the practical ways professionals can stand alongside them.

AFR is one hour. Twenty-two dollars. A commitment that turns into action.

Who AFR Serves

When everyone else is running from danger, our frontline workers are running into it. AFR exists to make sure the professionals working with them understand who they’re serving, and why it matters.

The program supports:

These are over 30 million Americans. That’s 30 million opportunities to do one thing that matters.

The battle after the battle

The numbers tell the part of the story most people don’t see.

More than 3.3 million Americans have served since 9/11. Of those, 7,085 died while serving. Over 120,000 died from suicide.

Not from weakness. From exhaustion. From silence, nightmares, and isolation.

First responders carry the same weight in different uniforms. So do nurses and ER physicians. So do teachers walking into classrooms under impossible conditions. PTS is a normal response to extraordinary circumstances, and the people we depend on most are carrying it in silence.

AFR is a way for professionals to acknowledge that weight and contribute to relief. Practically, financially, and through the same mission that fuels the broader American Warrior Initiative: providing service dogs to those who need them.

How AFR Works

Certification: One hour, annual renewal.

Cost: $22 per certification, which goes directly to American Warrior Initiative.

Loan Officer Commitment: A minimum $500 contribution to AWI’s mission.

Partners: Real estate professionals and partners contribute at the level that fits their practice. The commitment matters more than the amount.

Every certified professional becomes part of a network of people choosing to do one thing for those who give everything.

Local action. National impact.

AFR works alongside the broader AWI ecosystem. The funds raised through certifications go to the same place: service dogs for veterans and first responders, and direct support for the families behind the uniform.

AWI has helped place 452 service dogs to date. AFR-certified professionals are part of how the next ones get funded.
